Here are my ideas:

1. Dark Moon

The Dark ride would be based on Dark Moon since not only does it have an arcade version, it also has a lot of basic enemies which can be used as targets. The ride will start outside going into the Mansion, where you'll go into different rooms capturing ghosts. You'll eventually end up in the library where the Poltergeists will appear, capturing them will give you huge amount of points, however they'll be hard to capture since their invisible. The ride will end with fighting King Boo in the Basement which will give you huge amount of points.

2.Luigi's Mansion

The ride will take place in the Basement and have you progress from the bottom to the top with a fight with King Boo. The Portrait ghosts will be worth a lot of points but also will be difficult to capture. The ride ends with on the top with King Boo opening and his army of ghosts.

3. Its own thing(You thought I was going to say 3):

This one will be a mixture of all of them taking place in an entirely new Mansion. The ride will feature ghosts from 3(or possibly 4) and its up to you and Luigi(and Gooigi) to capture them to bring back to E.Gadd. throughout it you'll meet special ghosts from 1 and 3 that'll give you massive amount of points but will difficult to capture. Polterpup will also randomly appear and give you hints to check stuff while your moving for extra points. The ride ends in a giant Ball room where you fight King Boo and Hellen Gravely capturing them you a large amount of points.

Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention that E.Gadd and Gravely will both speak full sentences.

The possessed objects in Luigi's Mansion 3 are kind of lacking in terms of combat and don't really do much. So why not have a ghost who possesses objects like the Oozer, but instead of hiding, it makes it come alive like the pink spirit balls. Once you use the Dark light on it, it'll pop out and start charging at you like the possessor ghost and get dizzy, giving you the opportunity to capture it.

Luigi's Mansion will be 23 years old

I think Luigi's mansion 3 had the worst appearance of King Boo:

Not only does he do diddly squat after capturing you party(again) but when you fight him attacks a really slow and more physical based(kind of like a certain someone). And that's without mentioning his rant about how he's just done with Luigi(and it only took him 2 games to do it).
