The Tomb Suites are the 10th floor and the 12th floor unlocked in the game, via beating Clem. The boss fought here is Serpci.
Appearance[]
One of the tallest floors in the game, Tomb Suites has a complete emphasis on ancient Egyptian times. The Sandy Grand Hall is a massive chamber replicating a desert with a pyramid at the center. Inside the pyramid is a fancy royal styled suite containing a sarcophagus housing Serpci. Underneath the pyramid however is a large section of underground chambers, each containing a different trap, and almost every room in the underground section is fitted with a booby trap. There are ancient hieroglyphics carved into the walls, snake and Serpci statues and sand leaking everywhere in this level. In the Central Chamber, massive Boo boulders will roll around the room for a while if Luigi activates a pressure plate. In the Snake Chamber, Luigi has to prevent the ceiling collapsing on him, which is only being held up by chains. For the Scale Chamber, Luigi has to put the correct amount of weight on the scale to stop the spiked ceiling impaling him, and the Jewel Chamber consists of a room that fills up with poison. Luigi has to plug the correct shapes into the holes in the wall to block the poison to exit. As a final booby trap, the Secret Passageway has walls that crush Luigi when they activate the pressure plate. Luigi has to run up the stairs quickly to avoid being flattened.

Gems[]
Each floor of the hotel will have 6 different gems of several colors.
All the gems in the hotel will have a distinctive shape depending on the floor they are located. The ones in the Tomb Suites will be shaped like snakes, specifically Cobras.
White Gem[]
There is a sarcophagus In the Central Chamber next to the door that leads to the Snake Chamber. It can open with the Suction Shot, revealing two more little ones inside, the player must continue breaking them until revealing a Gem Goob within the last one.
Red Gem[]
At the far east of the Elevator Hall, near the snake statue, is a vase that can break with the Suction Shot. Behind it is a hidden chain that Luigi or Gooigi must pull to open the snake's mouth while the other retrieves the gem with the Poltergust G-00.
The player must be careful when doing so because of the Bats that will come out of the broken vase and the snake's mouth.
Blue Gem[]
Once the player has done the jewel room of the level, they must break the pot to the left of the Serpci statue to get an X-shaped puzzle piece. It can be picked up and carried to the entrance of the room where a slot is visible on the left wall and where the player can put it in. After inserting it in the slot, the blue gem will appear. Then, a mummy will break out of a nearby sarcophagus. Defeating it will reveal that a Golden Goob has been playing tricks.
Green Gem[]
In the Scale Chamber, there's a grate under the sand in the south-west area of the room. After clearing it with the Poltergust G-00, Gooigi can drop through a underground area to find a treasure chest containing the gem on the right.
Purple Gem[]
In the Sandy Grand Hall is a big sand dune to the left of the pyramid, forming a pyramid-shaped mound. Luigi must vacuum there to reveal a buried fossil and the gem.
Yellow Gem[]
At the right of the great pyramid in the Sandy Grand Hall is a giant statue of a snake buried in the sand. Luigi must dig up the entire body of the statue with the help of the Poltergust G-00 to notice several sections of it are missing.
There are two invisible parts. In the hollows of its body, the player must use the Dark-Light Device to complete it, once done, the snake will open its mouth to ironically spit out the snake-shaped gem.
Trivia[]
- Ironically, two of the gems must be obtained within a snake-shaped object, the same shape the gems of this floor have.
- This floor is the only floor with "Suites" in the name that does not actually appear to have a suite. There is only a pyramid and its traps, but no Bedroom/Bathroom combinations.
- The sarcophagus that needs to be broken to reveal smaller ones inside and containing a Gem Goob with the White Gem in the last one is a reference to the Matryoshka dolls.
- The way the snake statue opens its mouth in the Sandy Grand Hall to get the Yellow Gem is very similar to the Cave of Wonders, from "Aladdin".
- While this is a common video game and film trope, the real life Pyramids of Giza didn't and do not contain any booby traps, as this was a feature popularised by cinema. The closest thing that could be linked to "booby traps" were false chambers. These were rooms that were designed to look like the Pharaoh's chamber, however everything inside such as the gold and even corpse were fake and ingenuine. This was done to trick any intruders and prevent then from raiding the real chamber.
