The Dance Hall is the 14th floor. The boss fought here is DJ Phantasmagloria. The place is relatively simple, as it is just a hall to a dance floor or disco room. This may be made up for by the Polterkitty chase, which is probably the actual floor section of the stage. There is also a gift shop and a secret vault.
Appearance[]
The Dance Hall is a fairly linear stage that's mostly a hallway leading to a glamorous dance floor. The aesthetic style seems to be based on retro discos from the 1960s - 1980s, with bright neon LED's and tube lights mounted everywhere on the floor. The shops and secret areas on this floor have pink walls with a black and white checkered floor, matching a lot of backstage designs of real clubhouses and discos. Along the stairway to the dance floor, there is graffiti painted on the walls. While mostly based on 60's-80's disco and funk, there is a accent of late 80's hip-hop running through the floor as well, as the dancing Goobs wear attire popular in that era of music. The small dining areas on the sides of the dance floor have swivel diner chairs that were popular in many bars from the 50's-90's. Record disc imagery is seen in a lot of places in this stage too, from interactive turntables on the walls, to even ceiling decor.

In Luigi's Mansion 3[]
After defeating Polterkitty and retrieving the floor's elevator button, Luigi will travel to the floor, where there is seemingly dancing and music happening on the dance floor. Once Luigi gets close to the door, the music will stop, and he will open the door to the elevator button to floor 15F laying on the dance floor for him to take. However, when he grabs it, a powerful blast of music will send him flying off the stage, with a Goob taking possession of the elevator button. Luigi then has to blast the ghosts until he locates the one with the elevator button. After defeating that ghost, DJ Phantasmagloria will take the elevator button and battle Luigi. Once she is defeated, Luigi gets the elevator button to master suite.
Gems[]
Each floor of the hotel will have 6 different gems of several colors.
All the gems in the hotel will have a distinctive shape depending on the floor they are located. The ones in The Dance Hall will be shaped like Headphones.
Elevator Hall Gems[]
Green Gem[]
At the right of the Elevator Hall, where the shops are located, Luigi can enter the one with a neon light of a shopping bag above simply by using the Burst to open the hatch.
On the left wall of the shop is a hidden door that leads to the clothing store behind a poster of four Goobs in orange hoodies. Luigi can rip it off with the Poltergust G-00 to get to the other side.
Once there, Luigi must remove weight from the wardrobe on the left by vacuuming all the clothes on that side. Each time one is torn off, the platform will rise little by little until it reveals a secret compartment with Money and the gem.
Purple Gem[]
At the far left of the Elevator Hall, the player will find some records on the west wall. If Luigi or Gooigi vacuums one of them, a Brick Block will come out from the front wall.
While one of them vacuums the record, the other must burst 5 times under the block simulating jumps until the gem comes out of it, Super Mario Bros. style.
Yellow Gem[]
In front of the elevator in the Elevator Hall is a lighten up dance floor formed with squares. Luigi must walk along the unlit squares of it to turn the lights on the floor.
There is a moment where both Luigi and Gooigi must simultaneously stand on the unlit squares until a staircase appears.
Going down would leads to a secret vault full of money and the gem attached to a Spider web on the other side of a cage that Gooigi can trespass easily to vacuum everything, When entering the player will unlock the "Snuck into the Hidden Vault" on the list of Achievements.
Dance Hall Gems[]
All the gems of this room require the player to have discovered the back room in the Dance Hall after using the Super Suction. This can only be available after the battle against DJ Phantasmagloria.
If Luigi returns to the floor and goes to the Dance Floor after the battle, he will see two tiles on the dance floor that are not illuminated. If both he and Gooigi stand in them, they will activate and reveal a mechanism that will lift another tile that contains an electrical socket to use the Super Suction.
When using the Super Suction, the player needs to break even the wall behind the first one, the one with the door and the bricks. After doing so, it will reveal a back room used by DJ Phantasmagloria, with multiple wigs like the one she uses on head mannequins, as well as several headphones on some of them.
In the front wall of the break room are three discs on the wall, the first one has a Strobulb receptor that Luigi must activate to make two stairs at the sides of the Dance Hall appear, where there are some tables and chairs in an upper rest area.
Blue Gem[]
The gem is in the back room, but it's not any of the headphones shown there, because it's still more hidden.
Luigi will see that there is a mannequin that does not have a wig at the right. The player must use the Dark-Light Device to make it appear, and once done, vacuum it up to reveal the gem under the wig.
White Gem[]
After making the stairs appear, the ones on the left side will lead to an upper area, the white gem is hidden in an invisible table at the south. The player can notice this by the "floating" lamp.
Luigi must use the Dark-Light Device to reveal it, making a Gem Goob appear.
Red Gem[]
After raising the stairs, Luigi and Gooigi must use their vacuums at the same time to spin the records on each side simultaneously.
This causes the disco ball to fall and break, revealing the gem inside.
Trivia[]
- The way in which the purple gem is obtained is a reference to the Mario Bros. games, where one of the mechanics is to jump under Brick Blocks to break them or obtain power items.
