The Great Stage is the 5th floor unlocked in the game, obtainable after beating Chef Soulfflé. It's based off of most musical theaters and has a secret Super Suction use. The boss fought here is Amadeus Wolfgeist. This is also one of the 3 floors where the boss can possess an object and contains a Toad rescue.
The layout of the floor is surprisingly simple compared to the others. It's one hallway that makes a turn and goes into two side bathrooms, and then has a door to a wide stage. This simple type of layout is also mimicked with other Toad rescue stages.

Walkthrough[]
Not much is there for the actual walkthrough, as the majority of the stage is located in the boss fight against Amadeus Wolfgeist.
When Luigi originally enters, he needs to head west. However, the carpet for some reason is creating waves. Luigi needs to use the Burst Function to dodge them and proceed, as otherwise he will be knocked back. At the end of the carpet is a Goob, who was creating the waves. Luigi needs to capture the Goob and then proceed to the Auditorium. Once in the stage, move forward until the cut-scene appears. The Boss fight will then start.
Gems[]
Each floor of the hotel will have 6 different gems of several colors.
All the gems in the hotel will have a distinctive shape depending on the floor they are located. The ones in The Great Stage will be shaped like musical notes.
White Gem[]
Inside the Women's Restroom (Left Side), the player might notice that the sink on the right is missing but still reflected in the mirror. Luigi must use the Dark-Light Device to restore the hidden faucet, then turn it on to reveal a Gem Goob.
Red Gem[]
If the player goes to the west from the stage on the Auditorium, they will find the Dressing Room hidden behind the red curtains.
Inside there is a piano. If Luigi tries to play it, some notes will not sound, as some keys are missing. The player must use the Dark-Light Device to make them appear again.
Now Luigi can play it perfectly again, and at the end of the song, the red gem will pop out from the lid alongside some Money and sheet music.
Blue Gem[]
The clue of the location of this gem can be seen from the Elevator Hall if Luigi approaches one of the windows with the broken blind and see through it. From there, he will see a Goob hiding the blue gem in the safe where it's found later on.
In the Men's Restroom (Right Side), there is a Spring Gate blocking the toilet. Gooigi can get past it and then pull the handle. The right corner wall with the Boo statue will turn, and now Luigi can access through it after Inspect the wall to get into the concession stand.
Inside, there is a safe and a row of bottles, and above is a tune. Instead of trying to decode the song, the player can simply start moving from left to right using the Poltergust G-00, Blowing/Vacuuming the bottles. This combination of notes will unlock the safe and reveal the gem.
Green Gem[]
Note: This gem requires the Super Suction after the completion of the B2 - Boilerworks return mission, which is basically what happens before the 12F - The Spectral Catch Boss Fight.
After performing a Burst on a darker square on the left side of the Auditorium's stage, a plug will appear. The player needs to activate the Super Suction and then vacuum the wall up. Behind the wall is a set of risers and the ghost orchestra, which is a bunch of Goobs too busy singing to attack Luigi. Vacuuming them all will unlock the "Defeated the Ghost Orchestra on 4F" achievement.
Vacuuming the middle area of the risers will allow access to a TV. After using the Strobulb on the receptor, Luigi can go inside the TV to be teleported to one of the VIP seats high up. Using the Poltergust G-00 on the popcorn will reveal the Gem inside.
Purple Gem[]
In the Elevator Hall, just in front of the elevator is a Tuba. The player needs to blow air into the Tuba with either Luigi or Gooigi. The gem will then appear, but it cannot be grabbed. Whoever is not blowing the tuba needs to vacuum the gem. This will cause it to jump onto the floor.
Yellow Gem[]
At the far west of the Elevator Hall, Luigi will find a popcorn machine. Activating the machine three times with the Strobulb causes it to burst with popcorn, revealing several Coins, Bills and the gem inside.
