The Garden Suites are the 8th floor unlocked in the game and the 7th in general, available after rightfully jousting and winning against King MacFrights. The boss fought here is Dr. Potter.
The Garden Suites is based off of most gardens and greenhouses. It seems to be one, except that it also has bedroom-bathroom combinations (Hence the Suites part) that have been also overrun with whatever plant is mentioned in the name of that particular room.
Polterkitty also returns here when stealing the button to 9F - Unnatural History Museum.
Appearance[]
Incredibly similar to the Haunted Towers from the previous game, the Garden Suites is a vertical floor, as the only way to access most rooms is via the path of destruction the giant plant leaves in the Atrium, seeing as it destroys most of the staircase in the room. The entire floor is overgrown with flowers, grass, plants and ivy, making it very hard to traverse and pests can easily hide in the tall grass, such as snakes. While every room is infested, each suite seems to be themed around or is home to a particular plant. When Luigi is at the top of the plant, he can slide all the way down to the ground floor in an instant.

Gems[]
The 6 gem colours
Each floor of the hotel will have 6 different gems of several colors.
All the gems in the hotel will have a distinctive shape depending on the floor they are located. The ones in the Garden Suites will be flower shaped, almost like stars.
White Gem[]
After cleaning up the Ivy Bathroom of watermelons with the Suction Shot and both Luigi and Gooigi help, the player can reveal a grate in front of the toilet with the Dark-Light Device.
Gooigi needs to go through the grate and restore part of a drain pipe on the right, this one is somehow hard to find. After doing so, Gooigi should wait and should not return to Luigi.
Now Luigi must then use the Poltergust G-00 to turn the bathtub water on. This will water an orange flower that will bloom where Gooigi is and that can be opened with the Strobulb, revealing the gem.
Red Gem[]
On the southeast of the Blooming Suite, there is a stand hidden behind some leaves. After using the Poltergust G-00 to clear the area, Luigi must use the Suction Shot to open the drawer and reveal a pipe where Gooigi can pass through.
The pipe will transport Gooigi to the top of the bed where there is also a closed flower. This one must be opened with a flash with the Strobulb, revealing the red gem inside, which will fall where Luigi can pick it up.
Blue Gem[]
At the very top of the Level 4 Atrium, above the giant carnivorous plant, Luigi needs to use the suction function on the left to unfold a large leaf, then vacuum some leaves on the north-west wall to reveal a path that goes behind the window to the right, leading to the gem in a nest.
Green Gem[]
In the Mushroom Suite, If the player keeps walking north from above the bed, they will find behind the red curtains a vine to an area beneath the floor.
The gem is inside the flower in the south-east, but to get there, Gooigi needs to enter a really hard to see pipe in the area, at the north of where the flower is placed. Once there, It only remains to use the Strobulb on the flower and get the gem.
Purple Gem[]
In the Blooming Bathroom, Luigi can reveal the gem simply by vacuuming the pile of rose petals from the bathtub. The gem will appear between the petals, almost forming part of the same pink-hued flowers, but it cannot be collected from where Luigi is.
In front of the toilet is another pile of sakura petals covering a grate. After using the Poltergust G-00, Gooigi needs to drop through it to find the pipe that leads to the bathtub, but unlike the others, this one is hidden behind some leaves on the upper-right wall and it is also gray instead of green. The player needs to vacuum these leaves to reveal the pipe that leads to the gem.
Yellow Gem[]
Just in the Elevator Hall, there are three paintings in a row to the right of the elevator. Luigi needs to use the Dark-Light Device below the yellow painting on the right to reveal yellow tulips and the gem between them.
Trivia[]
- This floor, garden-themed as it is, has a huge similarity to the Haunted Towers from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
- The Thorny Bathroom on the 3rd level and the Mushroom Suite on the 4th level have no accompanying Suite/Bathroom. However, their respective positions fit into each other, signifying how each one had a counterpart, but it is blocked off by something.
- This floor and 14F - The Dance Hall are the only floors to outright give the elevator button away, only for Luigi to lose it and after fighting their boss.
