In Luigi's Mansion 3
Battle
First phase
When he makes his entrance, Amadeus Wolfgeist focuses on playing the piano. During his first phase, Amadeus cannot be attacked at all. Rather, Luigi must keep moving as chairs break from their foundations and close in on his location. Colliding with one deals damage.
Second phase
This phase begins when all of the chairs have flown towards Luigi. Several Twirling Goobs appear. Their appearance is similar to a standard Goob. However, a Twirling Goob will twirl towards their target. They can be defeated if Luigi uses his Poltergust G-00 to tear off the mask they wear, then sucking them up as normal. Destroying every one causes Amadeus Wolfgeist to fly into a rage, causing him to assume control of his piano.
Final phase
During this phase, Amadeus tries to crush Luigi with all his might. Luigi flash Amadeus's eyes, and then the boss will move to the stage itself and fire bombs from his mouth. Luigi must pick up a bomb via his vacuum and fire it into the piano, stunning him. Luigi must then grab Amadeus with the suction shot and slam him onto the floor. When he reveals his true form, the boss can be attacked. His hit points are a maximum of 450 points during his final phase. Once Luigi captures him, Amadeus takes a bow before being pulled in.

Amadeus Wolfgeist is sent to the Gallery for the remainder of the adventure.

Etymology
The name, Amadeus Wolfgeist, is a reversal of Wolfgang Amadeus. The name, Mozart, is cut out of the title. The word, gang, is replaced with the word geist, from "Poltergeist" (not to be confused with the ghost of the name same.)
Trivia
- There is a secret room behind the left side of the curtains after the players have beaten him. They will then see a portrait of Amadeus playing his piano that strangely shows him with red eyes. The player can also find some money in there as well.
- He seems to have a resemblance to another character from the first Luigi's Mansion, Melody Pianissima. Both of them change their calm attitude to a more aggressive one during their fight, where they play the piano, and they get offended by those who don't appreciate or understand their music.
- In Amadeus' final phase, he becomes reminiscent of the infamous Mad Piano from Super Mario 64 (and by extension, Super Mario 64 DS).
- He behaves similarly to the Harsh Possessor from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
- Amadeus is the only Boss ghost in the game that throws projectiles behind him when being attempted to tether.
