Dark Moon Quest
In "Underground Expedition", after exploring the Tomb, Luigi finds the minute hand for the clock in the Clock Tower Gate, only to have it being taken away by the Ancient Poltergeist, leaving Luigi alone with three Mummy Greenies to fight.
In "Roundhouse Brawl", Luigi sees the Ancient Poltergeist toying with the minute hand and using telekinesis to levitate some bricks in the Roundhouse. While Luigi finds another way to get to the other side of the Roundhouse, the Ancient Poltergeist will examine Luigi from afar. Once Luigi reaches the Ancient Poltergeist, he taunts Luigi and dives into the turntable before the fight commences.
Battle
The battle starts with the Ancient Poltergeist in a sandstorm and launching a bomb at Luigi. Once he is exposed, Luigi should be quick to capture him. However, once he reaches 80 HP, a Sneaker will scare Luigi, losing his grip on the Ancient Poltergeist. After the Sneaker is captured, the Ancient Poltergeist dives into the turntable again and creates another sandstorm, launching two bombs at Luigi. After he is exposed Luigi should react quickly to capture him again. Once he reaches 40 HP, another Sneaker will scare Luigi, and must be captured. As the Ancient Poltergeist dives into the turntable again, he'll launch six bombs at Luigi, and summon two Sneakers. It is recommended to capture the two Sneakers and the Ancient Poltergeist all at once. Once the Ancient Poltergeist so captured, Luigi can pull the rope to draw the bridge down and collect the minute hand.
