The Bomb Brothers are one of the five types of boss ghosts encountered in the ScareScraper in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Information[]
Physical description[]
The Bomb Brothers are identical to Greenies, only having lime-yellow features instead of green and being much bigger in size. They have much more HP but attack the same way. There are several different variants of the Bomb Brothers, but they all attack the same.
Powers and abilities[]
Punch: The Bomb Brothers can punch Luigi, dealing 20 damage
Bomb Brother: Bomb Brothers can throw bombs at Luigi which explode, dealing 20 damage.
Invisibility: Bomb Brothers can become invisible.
History[]
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
Bomb Brothers first appear in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, as a ScareScraper-exclusive boss. Like all bosses, the Bomb Brothers are randomly fought on every five floors, barring the top floor.
Battle[]
When the Bomb Brothers first appear in battle, they will both be carrying large bombs in their hands. In order to make them vulnerable, the player must shine the Dark-Light Device on them or remove the bomb from their hands. When they drop the bomb, it will have its fuse lit and will explode shortly afterwards, dealing massive damage in a wide area. The Bomb Brothers can also attack by punching the Luigis, dealing 20 HP of damage per hit.
Once a player manages to stun a Bomb Brother and begins vacuuming him, he will attempt to flee like a normal Greenie, but will also start dropping small timed bombs onto the floor that explode. If a Luigi is caught in the blast radius, they will suffer light damage and lose hold of whatever ghost(s) they were vacuuming. In addition to that, if one of the Bomb Brothers is under attack but the other one is still active, he will drop his bomb and move over to attack the Luigi(s) vacuuming the other Bomb Brother, trying to save the other and work together.
Support[]
During the battle, the Bomb Brothers will be supported by normal Greenies, Greenies with equipment , and Strong Greenies (when one or both of the Bomb Brothers are heavily damaged).
Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]
While Bomb Brothers do not appear in Luigi's Mansion Arcade, all of its variants do, and each variation can be encountered randomly in the Old Clockworks and the Treacherous Mansion.

Fright Knight is a large Greenie wearing a suit of armor, with his face and the bottom of his hands are visible. This ghost is based of a knight.
Blue Pimpernel[]

Blue Pimpernel is a large Greenie with blue flowers on his body. This boss is based of a lysimachia foemina flower, which is commonly known as a pimpernel.
Spookumber (Melon-choly)[]

Spookumber (referred to as Melon-choly in PAL regions) is a pale green Greenie with dark green stripes on his body. This boss is based of a cucumber, but he is based of a watermelon in the PAL regions.
Spooky Spook[]

Spooky Spook is a large Greenie covered in a bed sheet, with holes visible for the eyes and mouth. This boss is based off the stereotypical bed sheet ghost.
Dreadonfly[]
- Main article: Dreadonfly
Dreadonfly is a large, dark green Greenie, with different shades of green stripes going across his body. He also has red circles around his eyes, which represents bug's eyes. This boss is based on a dragonfly.
Horrorca[]

Horrorca is a large black Greenie with white markings on his body. This boss is based of a killer whale.
Bad-minton[]

Bad-minton is a large, white Greenie, with a blue ring around his neck and white markings on his body. This makes this ghost based of a shuttlecock used in the sport Badmintion.
Awelligator (Maligator)[]
- Main article: Awelligator
Awelligator (referred to as Maligator in the PAL regions) is a dark green Greenie with lighter shades of green scales on his body. This makes this boss based on the alligator.

Trivia[]
- Very rarely, one of the Bomb Brothers may pick up something else than a bomb. He will carry that item normally until he drops it.[citation needed]
- In the ScareScraper mode of Luigi's Mansion 3, It is also possible to find a version of ghost called Bomb Ghost that have a great resemblance to the Bomb Brothers, and it's most likely that their design was based on them.
- These include: Bomb Goob, Bomb Hammer and Bomb Oozer.
