Bomb Goobs are rare ghosts in Luigi's Mansion 3. They are a rare variety of a Goob which appear in the 10 and 20 floor ScareScraper mode.
They are yellow, glowing Goobs with blue eyes. When viewing them in the rare ghost collection they will makes fists and punch towards the screen.
They have more than double that of a regular Goob's HP. Bomb Goobs can spawn bombs to attack the player with. Bomb Goobs can also use bombs to deflect plungers flashes from the Strobulb. However a fully charged Hyper-Strobulb blast will bypass the bomb. To make them move the bomb to make them flashable, make sure there is a clear path between their target and the goob. Don't flash or plunger shot too early, if you do it will delay it from making itself vunerable. Be patience, running up to it and back a little can also help. Make sure you stay out of the blast zone. Once it is above its head, then you flash. You can also slam a ghost near it to scare it to make it drop the bomb.
Trivia[]
- They bear a strong resemblance to the Bomb Brothers from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, as both are a yellow counterpart of the original ghost for the ScareScraper mode and also drop bombs at the player. It's possible that the design of the Bomb Brothers inspired all the Bomb Ghosts.
- Ironically, the Goobs are based on the Greenies, so the Bomb Goobs could be considered the Bomb Brothers of Luigi's Mansion 3.
