The Botany Lab is a large room found in the Haunted Towers of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Appearance[]
The Botany Lab seems to be a place where the original owner of the Haunted Towers would do experiments and such. The room contains vines, pipes, with a hydro generator that when all three panels are activated with the Strobulb, makes a giant plant sprout in the glass tube, and destroying it, to access the Seedling Laboratory. There is a upper section connected to two steps which has some tables and chester drawers with measuring cylinders containing different colours of chemicals. There are two flowers, which can be sprouted by watering them with a bucket and water from the hydro generator, one of which contains an emerald.
Dark Moon Quest[]
During "The Pinwheel Gate," Luigi needs to go to the Botany Lab, as the room contains the only way of progresing to the next floor. There is a missing pipe on the roof, which can be revealed by the Dark-Light Device, to help the water flow through and create the plant to access the upper floors.
From "Graveyard Shift," and onwards, this room serves no relevance, although Luigi can come in here to collect the emerald, except for the missions "Pool Party" and "Tree Topping."
During "Hostile Intrusion," the Botany Lab could be one of the rooms infested with ghosts. If so, Luigi will find Creepers accompanied by either Greenies with shovels, or two Slammers.
