The Clockworks Court is an outdoors area of the Old Clockworks in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Description[]
The Clockworks Court is a large, open and sandy courtyard, filled with scraped clocks, which the hands display the time of half past 3. At the beginning of the courtyard where Luigi is pixelated, there is a telescope which lets him see the top of the clock tower, where the Overset Possessor can be seen. There is a bar which can be lifted to get through the other side by using the Strobulb on the green switch. Behind a set of clocks and gears is a small gear that, by using a special compass, reveals it to be a shaft hidden by the sand, which leads to the Storm Cellar.
Just outside the front of the tower, there is a set of tracks leading from the Roundhouse to the far east of the courtyard. On the west side, there is a treasure chest, which can be accessed by using the Dark-Light Device on a hidden piece of the tracks. There is a giant clock blocking the door to the Warehouse. To gain access to it, Luigi needs to use the Vacuum or Blow function on the Poltergust 5000 on the rotor to get the hands to show the time half past 3, just like with the other clocks. To the east of the door is a pathway which lets Luigi see inside of the Warehouse.
Continuing forward on the eastern tracks, there is some debris which can be destroyed by activating the Robomb on the other side. Here are some air vents which wield a total of 18 bills, and an invisible toolbox on the end of the tracks, which contains a circular-shaped ruby in it. Throughout the courtyard, there are also some small branches which have 5 coins in them each, some dead sunflowers and some beetles that pop out of the sand in some areas.
Dark Moon Quest[]
In "A Timely Entrance," "Underground Expedition," "Play Catch" and "Outlandish Interruption," Luigi gets pixelated to the Clockworks Court. In all these missions mentioned, except for the bonus mission, the treasure chest wields 20 bills, three gold beetles and a gold Robomb respectively. In "Play Catch," three Greenies are seen playing with the hour hand before the Polterpup eats it and gets chased by the Greenies.
In Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]
The Clockworks Court serves as the first area explored in the Old Clockworks. Luigi starts off his journey by trying to access the Warehouse. However, a Slammer steals the rotor to open the gate and flees east. As Luigi chases down the Slammer, he has to fight several ghosts that stand in his way. He also spots a Gobber on the roof, spitting yellow goo at Luigi which he vacuums up, before E. Gadd tells Luigi to simply ignore the ghost and continue pursuing the Slammer. After Luigi captures the bulky red ghost, he retrieves the gear and fixes it to open the door to the Warehouse.
