Coins are the most common treasure found in all 3 games. There are a total of 1536 coins in Luigi's Mansion, each one worth 5,000G. Though they are the most worthless treasure other than the Red Diamond, they give a total of 7,680,000G, making them the 7th most useful treasure if 100% collected.
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
In Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, if Luigi captures any ghost with a level 1 A-Pull meter, he gets 3 coins as a reward. Coins can be also found in objects like in cabinets, under tables, in paintings, or if he moves an object, and are also the most common treasure in the game.
Luigi's Mansion 3[]
Coins are primarily found in the same way as in Luigi's Mansion 3. Luigi can also earn gold by Slamming a ghost multiple times in a row.
