Dr. Potter is a boss ghost in Luigi's Mansion 3. He is fought in 7F - Garden Suites.
History[]
Dr. Potter follows Luigi up the Venus Flytrap that he had grown. When first encountered, Luigi had been startled by him and accidentally dropped the elevator button in the Venus Flytrap's mouth.
Battle[]
During the bossfight, Dr. Potter will grow a smaller Venus Flytrap in a pot and use it to attack the player. To defeat it, the player must make it chomp down on one of the plants growing from the ground and use the buzzsaw given at the beginning of the fight to break its stem, then proceed to catch Dr. Potter as usual.
Guides[]
Aftermath[]
Dr. Potter is sent to the Gallery for the remainder of the adventure.
Physical description[]
Dr. Potter is a slightly stocky green ghost with a long, bushy, white beard and eyebrows, glasses, and a yellow hat with a white flower sticking out. He wears a dark brown coat and backpack. He also carries a red watering can when seen before the bossfight.
Personality traits[]
Dr. Potter often taunts Luigi as he moves throughout the Garden Suites, and uses his watering can to grow branches from the giant Venus Flytrap found on the floor, blocking Luigi's path. He can also water plant that spit out pineapples. He only does this on staircases.
Weapons[]
- Watering can: Dr. Potter carries a red watering can, used to grow notorious plants at an insanely fast rate.
- Venus Flytrap (or Carnivorous Plant): Dr. Potter carries a Venus Flytrap during his battle & will do the following:
- Bite: It attempts to bite Luigi, & while doing this, its jaw can be stuck on a plant (be careful, the plants can eject all its air & die).
- Swing: Breaks any plants near it.
Trivia[]
- Dr. Potter is the second gardener ghost in the series, the first being The Three Sisters.
- The Venus Flytrap Dr. Potter uses in his fight, reuses the same model of the ones from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
