The Family Room (known as the Family Area in PAL regions) is a room found in the Haunted Towers of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Description[]
It can be accessed by going through the Rumpus Room or the Solarium. The Family Room is divided into two rooms, a sitting room on the left, and a kitchen on the right. The kitchen features a sink, a stove, an oven and a drawer. It has been partially destroyed by a giant, overgrown tree. The sitting room features a jukebox which can play a tune by using the Poltergust 5000 to release ten coins. some chairs, a table, and three pictures of three human female characters, which could be the pictures of The Three Sisters before they died. The frames of the pictures have the same shape as the hand mirrors that Lucinda, Herlinda and Berlinda have in battle. They most likely represent the same sister that holds it.
Dark Moon Quest[]
In "Pool Party," Luigi needs to go through the Family Room in order to get to the Rooftop Pool. By using the Dark-Light Device on the drawer in the kitchen, Gold Bars, coins and bills will fly out. Using the device on the missing middle portrait, it exposes the mission's Boo, Boo B. Trap.
In "Doggone Key," the Family Room and most of the rooms in the west tower are blocked off throughout the mission.
In "Hostile Intrusion," the Family Room may be one of the rooms selected with ghosts in it. If so, then Luigi may fight from a selection of Greenies, a Slammer, a Sneaker, Creepers or a Gobber.
