The Flash is an elemental variant of the Purple Punchers that Luigi encounters in Luigi's Mansion.
The Flashes appears only in The Hidden Room, Kitchen and Roof, although two of them are encountered in the Butler's Room during the Blackout. They also appears in the Tea Room, Armory And Sitting Room in the EU/3DS Hidden Mansion. Also Appears In Dining Room During Blackout Only In 3DS Hidden Mansion.
They have exactly the same behavior than Purple Punchers. Their heart is protected by ice, making them immune to the Poltergust 3000. In order to expose their heart, Luigi has to shoot fire from his Poltergust 3000, after vacuuming a Fire Elemental Ghost, at them, melting the ice surrounding the heart to make the ghosts vulnerable.

Scare: Like most other ghosts, a Flash is able to scare Luigi upon appearing, briefly halting his movements.
Invisibility: Flash can turn invisible when not attacking.
Uppercut: Just like its warmer brother, the Flash can uppercut Luigi, dealing 10 HP of damage if successful.
