Fright Knight is a variant of the Bomb Brothers appearing in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moons ScareScraper, and later returning in Luigi's Mansion Arcade.
History[]
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
Fright Knight first appears in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, as a ScareScraper-exclusive boss. Like all bosses, Fright Knight is randomly fought on every fifth floor, barring the top floor.
Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]
Fright Knight returns in Luigi's Mansion Arcade. Like all Bomb Brother variants in the game, Fright Knight is now the same size as regular Greenies, have 3 HP, although the one in the Old Clockworks has 20 HP, ones equipped with buckets in have 10 HP, and ones with swords and shields have 15 HP, and both of these can be found only in the Treacherous Mansion.
Old Clockworks[]
Fright Knight may first appear in the Old Clockworks, carrying the key that opens the door to the Transportation Hall, but two Greenies (one equipped with kitchen utensils, one equipped with a bucket), a Slammer and two Strong Greenies must be dealt first.
Treacherous Mansion[]
Fright Knight has a slightly higher chance of appearing in the Treacherous Mansion. If they appear in the West Corridor, they may appear with several different variants of Bomb Brothers or Primordial Goo. If they appear in the East Corridor, they have a likely chance of appearing as the last wave of ghosts, with three of them aiding Yukata Ball.

- The description for Fright Knight in the Ghost Container has a reference to the famous quote in Super Mario Bros., where after Mario defeats a Fake Bowser in castle levels through worlds 1-7, a prisoner Mushroom retainer says the princess is in another castle.
