The Front Yard (known as Front Garden in British English localizations) is the front entrance of the Gloomy Manor, as well as the first area explored in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
History[]
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
Luigi is pixelated at the Front Yard. As he makes his way to the door to enter the manor, it is locked. After peering into a window with some Greenies, a mouse will appear with a key. Luigi collects the key and enters the manor.[1]
After retrieving the Dark-Light Device, Luigi finds that the Cheep Cheep statue has been turned invisible by Spirit Balls. Revealing the statue will give Luigi coins, bills and Gold Bars.[2]
Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]
The Front Yard appears in the intro sequence of the Gloomy Manor, but is never explored.
Appearance[]
The Front Yard has a winding pathway to the main portion, with dead trees featured here. At the main portion, there are stones, grass and plants, heaps of soil, flowers and a Cheep Cheep statue on a fountain located west. There is also a veranda which includes windows, and rocking chair, a blue jar and an entrance to inside of the Gloomy Manor.
Trivia[]
- The Front Yard had some relatively major differences in the E3 2011 playable demo of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
