Ghostzilla is a boss in Luigi's Mansion 3. He is a Goob with a dinosaur-monster costume that plays the role of the main antagonist in Director Morty's film. Luigi must fight him in order to earn the ninth floor button.
Physical Appearance[]
Ghostzilla is portrayed here with green scaly skin and horns that curve forward. In reality, though, he is a Goob who shapeshifted (wore a costume) into a kaiju.
Boss Fight[]
During the whole fight, the top and bottom of the screen are black to change the aspect ratio, the top also has a recording sign, and in the actual screen there are 4 marks presumably for the focus. Overall, it looks like the whole fight takes place through a camera (which it does).
When Ghostzilla makes his entrance, Luigi walks through the city. He trips on a car and screams in horror when his opponent is revealed to be a kaiju. The kaiju roars at him and the battle begins.
Ghostzilla attacks with claw swipes and by spewing fire from his mouth. Eventually he spews a larger but slower one. Luigi must counter by using the Poltergust G-00 to blow the large one back. The smaller ones cannot be deflected. If the large one is deflected, Ghostzilla takes some damage. Then the large one after that is even stronger that requires the help of Gooigi, and the last one makes a small semi-cutscene of both Luigi and Gooigi working together to send the third and final hit to Ghostzilla. After that hits, Ghostzilla reveals his true form as a Goob. Luigi can capture him. Ghostzilla has 100 HP points as a common Goob.
When Ghostzilla is defeated, Director Morty stops the filming. He presents Luigi's prize: an elevator button and leaves to process the film.

Trivia[]
- Unlike in the prologue of the game, Morty does not include any way to hide the fact that Ghostzilla has no legs, perhaps because all the ghosts in the hotel are used to that fact and it is not broadcasted anywhere else.
- Ghostzilla and Polterkitty are the only bosses in the game who aren't in charge of the floor they are fought. Paranormal Productions is under the control of Director Morty, who is the real 'boss' of this floor. Ironically, Morty doesn't show any kind of threat towards Luigi.
