Graveyard Shift, or B-3, is the third mission in the Haunted Towers of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and the second mission with a mini-boss, being the The Three Sisters. With the pinwheel vanes in hand, Luigi can finally open the pinwheel gate and head to the Hollow Tree to try and find a way to the Dark Moon piece. However, he gets interrupted with having to save a Toad along the way.

Mission description[]
- "It's time to repair that pinwheel lock! Once that's done, you should be able to get inside the Hollow Tree and look for the passageway to the top."
Plot[]
In the Bunker, E. Gadd hands Luigi a spanner in order to fix the pinwheel vanes.
Once pixelated back to the Haunted Towers, Luigi finds a Greenie and a Slammer trying to steal the last vane in the Courtyard. However, they, along with two other Slammers are captured, and Luigi fixes the vanes, granting him access to the Hollow Tree.
Luigi makes his way to the top and tries to access the Eerie Staircase, only to have the door shut. E. Gadd calls and notes him of a special key found in the Crypt. Luigi makes his way back down to ground level using a dangling web sack and uses more websacks to burn a cobweb blocking the way to the Tree Root.
Within the Tree Root, Luigi uncovers a dangling object by vacuuming up a giant leaf and tugs on it to reveal a large stump which acts like an elevator, sending in through a statue of a crow into the Old Graveyard. Here, Luigi makes his way to the Crypt, tugs on an object to break a stone wall and find a painting of a Toad.
Using the Dark-Light Device, he frees the Toad. However, the special key is not anywhere to be found within the Crypt. E. Gadd then tells Luigi to head to the Gardener's Lab to send the Toad to the Bunker via an old Pixelator Screen.
However, as the pair try to leave on an escort mission, they are ambushed by The Three Sisters. Luigi manages to successfully capture them and they ride a tomb into the Sewer. They then make their way back to the Gardener's Lab and Luigi sends the Toad back into the Bunker via the Pixelator Screen, completing the mission.
