The High Wires is an area of the Secret Mine in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Description[]
The High Wires features two sets of zip-lines. After crossing the first zip-line, a crow's nest with a Gem can be found. A log can be used to access an outhouse. The second set of zip-lines will need to a treasure chest and an entrance to the Workshop Landing. The High Wires is accessible through the Terminal.
It appears that the Gondola was once connected to the system prior to the events of the game, but has been broken down since.
In Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
The High Wires can be accessed in "Cold Case" and "Hit Rock Bottom" to collect a sapphire.
In "Across the Chasm", Luigi must use the Gondola to melt some chains encased in ice cubes. He can also use it to cause a log to unfreeze and make a pathway to the outhouse, leading to a pocket dimension where Luigi must fire snowballs at three Hiders to collect the mushroom-shaped sapphire. Atter crossing the second zip-line, King Boo can be seen in the distance.
In "Severe Infestation", the High Wires may be infested with ghosts.
