  • The First Red Diamond is found by watering a plant in The Balcony at the right top side but it is not the same from the Jewel King Boo uses and it is just a normal Jewel, and the player needs to defeat Boo.
  • There is a extra frame in the Gallery called the "Platinum", the player can earn this frame if they defeated a Portrait Ghost in the Hidden Mansion.
  • When Professor Elvin Gadd (E. Gadd for short) calls the player from the future, in the background, 3 Dark Moon pieces can be seen which means that Luigi is still out exploring the Old Clockworks.
  • Gooigi was created during the time of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, when Gooigi was created, Professor E. Gadd wanted to use the old ghosts from the original mansion as a test if the creation was successful or not. But the original mansion disappeared years ago, so he decided to use the Pixelator to time travel.
  • The jingle when pausing or saving is now more "dramatic" and when exiting there is now an exit jingle.
