Emergency! The legendary King Boo has escaped from E. Gadd's Bunker and is among our pages... He tends to hide in the smallest ones, as there is plenty of space there. If the area gets filled with information, it will be too cramped for him and he will be forced to relocate! We have managed to get some intel about his location...
The King Boo Hunt is a fun activity designed to help improve some of our low-quality articles. This is basically a little incentive to find the smallest articles and make them more professional. The more organized articles, the better!
When you find a page with King Boo on it, try to start editing it. While you can't know for sure until you actually finish the edit, try to include at least 500-1,000 bytes, adding plenty of images, an infobox and categories. Make sure all information is straight to the point and do not include vague terms, and do not use terms such as "you", "we" "I" (unless it is a quote said in the game). When the page has accurate and reliable information, has plenty of images, and infobox and categories, King Boo will be too cramped, forced to leave, and he will relocate. His current hint will change and the old current hint will be registered in the previous locations section.
Current Hint
You have to keep up his rhythm! Let the last boss battle music begin!
Previous Locations
- Judge a book by its cover. A mouse's treasure is a Boo's spot. Referring to the Hidden Room. In the Title page, which explains the cover part, there is a hint saying that a mousehole, which explains the mouse part, leads to a secret treasure, which explains the treasure part. Found by ThePlatinumKnight.
- A duet of screams, a catchy remake. My location is not a fake. Referring to the Dual Scream. Dual is similar to duet, since both are referring to two of something. Screams is referring to the name of the device, and a catchy remake is referring to its ringtone. Found by VexMania.
- The second finale, a malfunction of blocks, what machine could do such a thing? Refering to the Pixelator. The blocks referring to how this invention transports the pixels of people and objects. Found by Ninfan64.
- King Boo hasn't waited a minute to escape. We need a second hand, there is no time to waste. Refering to the Clock Hand. The hint uses various time-related references, but "We need a second hand" also refers to both Clock Hands in the game. Found by Elliana Miller.
- Let's sail to our next destination! We need to stick to the plan to find that slippery ghost! Refering to the Nautical Exhibit. Sail is a reference to the maritime and nautical theme, while stick and slippery hints at octopuses, like the one found in this room. Found by LuigiMaster41.
