What this terms means is that when writing articles, is that people love to state every minor details in sentences. While having the maximum amount of information is good, we do not require every minor detail to be stated, as this can ruin the quality of the article, so it is important to be straight to the point. For example.
- Incorrect: As Luigi tries to collect the final Dark Moon piece, the Tough Possessor appears and scares Luigi. He eats the Dark Moon piece and creates a force field to knock Luigi. The Tough Possessor laughs as he begins to create a doppelgänger of himself and possess the suits of armor.
Notice how in that sentence, every minor detail is described? That's not a good way to present the article. Instead, it should be something more like this.
- Correct: As Luigi tries to collect the final Dark Moon piece, the Tough Possessor scares Luigi. With the final Dark Moon piece in his possession, the Tough Possessor creates a doppelgänger of himself to possess two suits of armor.
That's the best way to present the article. In addition, it is straight to the point. Some other good examples are below.
- Correct: As Luigi enters the Guard Hall, he see two Greenies playing with the Strobulb, just before noticing Luigi. They have a round of "hot potato" before leaving.
- Correct: As Luigi spins the pinwheel gate, a Hider scares him. He calls forth more Hiders to steal the pinwheel vanes, and flee into the east tower.
- Correct: As Luigi reaches the Balcony, he sees fifteen Boos to his left. As he approaches them, they taunt him, and begin to surround him, making Luigi scared, before the Boos begin to fuse into Boolossus.
- Correct: In the Garage, Steward is trying to wheel a cart containing his mask and coat, before noticing Luigi and E. Gadd. As the professor runs off, Steward begins throwing suitcases at Luigi before initiating the battle.
