Pondguin is a variant of the Primordial Goo appearing in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moons ScareScraper, and later returning in Luigi's Mansion Arcade.
Information[]
Physical description[]
Pondguin is a large, black Creeper with a white underbelly and underside. He has a yellow mouth and padded feet. His design is based on a penguin.
Powers and abilities[]
Pondguin has all of the powers and abilities as Primordial Goo, being able to create Creepers when a Power Surge is unleashed, as well as trap any of the Luigis if they get too close too him.
History[]
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
Pondguin first appears in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, as a ScareScraper-exclusive boss. Like all other bosses, Pondguin may be randomly fought on every five floors, barring the top floor. As well as the Creepers he creates, Pondguin is also aided by Slammers and Sneakers (with Slammers being replaced by Strong Sneakers on Expert and Endless).
Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]
Pondguin returns in Luigi's Mansion Arcade. Like all Primordial Goo variants in the game, Pondguin is now the same size as regular Creepers, have 12 HP, and cannot produce other Creepers. They can be vacuumed up once they have 3 HP. He is only found in the Treacherous Mansion, and has a higher chance of appearing in the West Corridor, but may also appear in the East Corridor. If found, they will appear with other variants of Primordial Goo.
