Quiet Please!, stylized as Quiet, Please! in British English localizations, or A-3, is the third mission in the Gloomy Manor of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Luigi is tasked with finding the source of some strange music in the Library and must find a way to get there, since the main entrance is covered in webs.

Description[]
"According to the Parascope, the ghostly activity in the north section is increasing! Now that you've recovered the gears, we should be able to investigate."
Story[]
Professor Elvin Gadd hands Luigi a crank with the four gears used to operate the access mechanism in the Foyer. The two soon hear music coming from the Gloomy Manor. The Parascope detects a strong paranormal signal from the Library and E. Gadd assumes a ghost must be playing with the grand piano within the room.
After being pixelated in the Entrance, Luigi makes his way to the Foyer to use the crank to operate the access mechanism. This lowers the large aquarium, allowing Luigi to access the Lobby on the second floor.
Upon entering, he finds two Greenies playing Rock, paper, scissors. After capturing the ghosts, a Slammer rides the elevator up, joined by several red spiders. Once it is captured, Luigi can access the second floor of the Library.
Luigi notices the grand piano seemingly playing by itself. Luigi dodges through the books targeting him as he makes his way to the Dining Room. Luigi pulls a rope to open a dumbwaiter, riding it down to the Kitchen. As Luigi tries to leave, he is ambushed by Greenies, some of which are decked out with kitchen utensils. To capture them, wait until they have finished attacking, then capture them whilst they are dizzy. Luigi then enters the first floor of the Library.
Upon entering, Luigi finds a Poltergeist playing the grand piano. It then turns invisible. Luigi needs to track down the Poltergeist. There are clues to track down where it is. Pay close attention to the books that are shaking. A book will also be levitated, showing where the ghost is. Once it is captured, two more will appear. Once the two have been captured, the mission is completed.
Strategies and tips[]
- With the Dark-Light Device equipped after Visual Tricks, Luigi can use the path used in that mission (Common Hall > Patio > Kitchen) to beat this mission, being much faster.
- However, since the 3 ghosts in the Lobby are skipped, getting a 3 star is considerably harder.
- When fighting the Poltergeists, unleash a level 1 Power Surge, then let go, then quickly vacuum it again, then rinse and repeat to avoid trouble from any incoming books.
- Luigi can also dodge the books through pressing B or moving the Circle Pad towards the Poltergeist, which allows Luigi to quickly move forward without completely losing the meter.
- Once a level 3 Power Surge is unlocked, Luigi only needs to charge one of those to defeat a Poltergeist.
- Charging up a level 3 Power Surge on the first Poltergeist, it is possible to save around a second by letting go of R after pressing A and then pressing R again soon afterwards. If done correctly, the animation will be near-instant and the next two poltergeists will spawn faster.
- Done incorrectly, the animation for sucking it up will be normal if R was pressed again too early, or the Poltergeist will not be sucked up at all if R was pressed too late.
- Once the first Poltergeist is defeated, Luigi can stun both of the subsequent Poltergeists by heading up to the fireplace, looking up and releasing a charged shot when the final Poltergeist crosses the window. This is not only much safer than dealing with them normally, but much faster.

Trivia[]
- This mission marks the first and only appearance of Poltergeists aside from the bonus missions of the Gloomy Manor and Old Clockworks, and of course, the ending credits.
- Upon entering the Guard Hall, the suits of armor have turned invisible. After completing A-4, Luigi can use the Dark-Light Device to bring the suits back. By doing this, 60 bills will drop from the roof, adding up to 300G.
- This mission is the only mission in the game that has an alternate path.
- There is a game-freezing glitch that can be performed here.
- First, Luigi needs to travel to the Common Hall, then look into the hole into the Library.
- Then, Luigi needs to travel through the Patio, Kitchen, Dining Room and up to the second floor of the Library. The Poltergeist is able to be captured, although once it is captured, it renders the mission incompletable.
- Once that's done, capturing all of the ghosts in either the Lobby or Kitchen will cause the game to crash, booting back to the title screen.
