The Rec Room (Japanese: トレーニングルーム Training Room) is a room that can be found by Luigi in the third area of Luigi's Mansion.
Story[]
When Luigi enters the Rec Room, he sees the ghostly bodybuilder Biff Atlas working out. Luigi can ignore Biff or fight him for more treasure. Smacking Biff with a nearby punching bag, Luigi managed to goad him into attacking. Hitting Biff a few more times with nearby punching bags caused the overly muscled ghost to pass out and expose his heart, allowing Luigi to attack and suck Biff up the Poltergust 3000.
Appearance[]
The Rec Room is filled with exercise equipment such as a treadmill, weights, the above-mentioned punching bags, and several other fitness machines. If Luigi runs on the treadmill for a bit, it will spit out a key to unlock a door connecting the third and second areas. A Speedy Spirit hides in the fitness machine with the ladder attached to it. There’s a secret Key hidden in the room that unlocks a shortcut. It will appear if Luigi runs on the treadmill for a while.

- Three Blue Twirlers (30 HP each)
- One Speedy Spirit (10 HP) (Will only appear if it is not found before the blackout)
