Speed Hammers are rare ghosts in Luigi's Mansion 3. They are a variety of Hammers.
Appearance[]
Speed Hammers look identical to their normal counterparts, except they are covered in a light red aura, like the Speed Goobs and Speed Oozers.
Abilities[]
They have 350 HP, almost double that of a regular Hammer's. They are defeated the same way as normal Hammers. However, they are able to move and attack much faster than a normal one. They actually cover their face so fast that if they're covering their face and you burst, it hands covers its face before you land. This is important to know as you can't flash mid-burst. To stop a Speed Hammer mid-charge you either need to flash a fully charged Hyper-Strobulb blast, slam a ghost on them, or have someone knock their hand off and flash. When you slam a ghost near it, but don't hit it, it can actually knock it back, if this happens it will take it hand's off its face for about a second, giving you an oppurtunity to flash it.
In Luigi's Mansion 3[]
Speed Hammers are exclusive to the game's ScareScraper mode. They may have a chance of appearing on the 5th, 10th, or 15th floors.
