Dark Moon Quest
Secret Mine

A Strong Greenie with a Strong Slammer and a Strong Gobber, with paranormal chains.
Strong Greenies are first encountered in the Secret Mine.
One of them attacks Luigi in the Crystal Quarry, alongside a Strong Sneaker and a Strong Slammer.[1]
Later on, a Strong Greenie, along with a Strong Gobber and a Strong Slammer in Paranormal chains act as sub-bosses. After the trio use their paranormal chains to block the entrance to the Gondola, Luigi has to defeat all three to break each chain. The Strong Greenie resides in the Smuggler's Hideout, but before it can be captured, three Sneakers must be captured first. Unlike other Strong Greenies, this Strong Greenie has 100 HP.[2]
Treacherous Mansion

Several Strong Greenies infest the Treacherous Mansion, under King Boo's command.
In the Underground Lab, two Strong Greenies are seen trying to bring a suit of armor to life.[3]
In the Jungle Exhibit, when Luigi tries to free the green Toad assistant, he is ambushed by a Flytrap and two Strong Greenies holding Tiki Spears. In the Ancient Exhibit, four Strong Greenies disguise themselves as Mummies, but one steps too close to a torch and burns away all their wrappings, which Luigi can use to his advantage.[4]
Several Strong Greenies are found in almost all of the infested rooms within the mansion later on.[5]
ScareScraper
In the ScareScraper, Strong Greenies appear as less common ghosts, assisting boss ghosts like Bomb Brothers, Beetle Whisperer and The Brain on Normal ScareScrapers, but also appear on normal floors on Hard, Expert or Endless ScareScrapers. They usually appear with several normal or armed Greenies, or with other ghosts such as Slammers and Creepers.

Old Clockworks
Strong Greenies first appeared in the Old Clockworks. Some are located in the Warehouse and Transportation Hall, mostly fighting alongside other Greenies, and occasionally Slammers.
Treacherous Mansion

A Strong Greenie with two Spooky Spooks.
Strong Greenies are much more common in the Treacherous Mansion. They are usually found accompanying different ScareScraper ghosts like different variations of Bomb Brothers, Beetle Whisperers and Primordial Goos. In the first phase of the fight against King Boo, Strong Greenies accompany him, alongside Strong Slammers.

Strategies and guides
The strategy of dealing with Strong Greenies is the same. While they have 5x more HP than their original counterparts, one Level 3 Power Surge can easily fully deplete their health. When possible, try not to let them get equipped with objects. Strong Greenies usually come with other Greenies or Strong Greenies, so capture as many as possible at once. However, if they come with other types of ghosts (most commonly Slammers, Strong Slammers, Sneakers or Strong Sneakers), it's best to capture those ghosts alongside the Strong Greenies.
