The Three Sisters are a trio of female ghosts appearing in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, and later returning in Luigi's Mansion Arcade.
Physical descriptions[]
Sister Lucinda is a small yellow ghost wearing a pink bow on her head, Sister Belinda is a tall, skinny turquoise ghost with a purple hat, and Sister Herlinda is a large, pink ghost with a green sunhat. They all carry different styled mirrors.
Dark Moon Quest[]
After Luigi rescues the Toad from the Crypt, Luigi is ambushed by the sisters in the Old Graveyard, who appear from graves, beginning a mini-boss fight. Eventually, they are captured and sent into the Ghost Container. E. Gadd remarks on how they are regular paranormal celebrities, and that once they restore the Dark Moon, that they may be willing to join him for a cup of ghost tea.
Following King Boo's second defeat and the restoration of the Dark Moon, returning all the ghosts back to their friendly selves and regaining their sanity, one of the credit scenes shows E. Gadd giving a flower to Herlinda, much to Lucinda and Belinda's joy.
Battle[]
The Three Sisters circle around Luigi, and use their mirrors as guards against Luigi's Strobulb. If Luigi flashes one while the mirror is still up, the other sisters will charge at Luigi. To capture one, they must look at their mirrors, letting their guard down and Luigi can capture one. It is essential to jump whilst capturing a sister, as the others will hit Luigi with their mirrors. Which each sister captured makes the fight easier. Should Luigi take too much damage, he can flash a crow that may appear in the arena to gain a heart. Sister Lucinda has 50HP, Belinda has 100HP and Herlinda has 150HP. Once all three sisters are captured, Luigi can leave the Old Graveyard with Toad.
In Luigi's Mansion Arcade[]
The Three Sisters return, serving as the bosses for the Old Clockworks. They are fought on the Belfry Clock.
Battle[]
They circle around and dive into the ground. One sister will attack Luigi with their mirror, but can be flashed before it does. Unlike in Dark Moon, the other sisters will not attack Luigi while he is capturing a sister. The sister is able to break free whilst being vacuumed. Once two of the sisters have been captured, the lone sister will be aided by two Slammers, which must be captured to capture the other sister. The sister will move around faster and attack more aggressively, and must be quick to capture her before she can summon more Slammers. Lucinda has 25HP, Belinda has 50HP and Herlinda has 75HP.

- Sister Lucinda (Melinda): The youngest of the fabled Three Sisters. Her hobbies include playing with her mirror and annoying her older sisters by pointing out their many flaws.
- Sister Belinda: One of the fabled Three Sisters. According to her sister Herlinda, she's the eldest of three. She is an expert on flowers and plants and loves gardening.
- Sister Herlinda: One of the fabled Three Sisters. According to her sister Belinda, she's the eldest of three. Her hobbies include comparing herself to flowers and looking in the mirror.
Trivia[]
- The Three Sisters are the only ghosts in Dark Moon to weigh the exact same spectral mass, regardless how many times they are captured. Lucinda always weighs 25w, Belinda always weighs 50w, and Herlinda always weighs 75w.
- Also, these weight masses are the exact same amount of health they have in Luigi's Mansion Arcade.
- The Three Sisters were the original owners of the Haunted Towers.
- The three portraits in the Family Room are presumably The Three Sisters before they died and became ghosts.
- Lucinda is the only one of the three sisters that does not wear a type of hat. She is also the only one with a visible tooth, lacks eyelashes, and has a different name in PAL regions.
- Herlinda is the only one of the the three sisters, as well as the only ghost in the entire game that has lips.
- The Three Sisters are comparable to Nikki, Lindsey, and Ginny, a trio of sister ghosts appearing in the next installment, Luigi's Mansion 3.
- The Three Sisters behave similar to the Clockwork Soldiers from Luigi's Mansion where if one is tethered, the other two will attack.
