The Train Exhibit is a room of the Treacherous Mansion in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Appearance[]
The Train Exhibit is a small room filled with train-related artifacts, mainly themed around a train station, and cardboard cut-outs of trees and clouds. The most notable feature is the mini-train diorama. It can only be accessed from the Study.
History []
In A Train to Catch, Luigi and E. Gadd look at the security image brought back by the green and purple Toads, and they find out that Mario has been captured once again. However, among the many Boos, they notice a unusual large Boo, which turns out to be King Boo. E. Gadd sends Luigi to go to the Train Exhibit to save Mario and defeat King Boo. Luigi needs to get a yellow book and place it back in the bookcase in the Study. However, the Strong Poltergeist steals it and flees to the Space Exhibit. After Luigi captures him and retrieves back the yellow book, he can place it back in the bookcase, he can enter the Train Exhibit. Upon entering, he is welcomed by 2 Strong Hiders and a Strong Sneaker. Once captured, Luigi must look in the diorama to find Mario's painting, only to have a Boo scare him. Only in this mission, Luigi can flash the train on the left to get 10 dollar bills. In this mission and other missions, Luigi can use the Dark-Light Device on a part of a missing train track to bring out a train that Luigi can go on. In the cave where the train goes in lies the Gem, which Luigi automatically collects.
In Ambush Maneuver, Luigi is pixelated in the diorama to ambush King Boo and rescue Mario. However, he is ambushed by several Boos that form into Big Boo, revealing that the security image was a ruse. However, Luigi traps the Boos in the train carts, and are then pixelated to the Boo Canister.
From Paranormal Chaos onwards, the Train Exhibit serves no relevant use.
