Ug is a boss who appears in Luigi's Mansion 3. He lurks within the 9F - Unnatural History Museum. He holds the B2 - Boilerworks button and the blue Toad's frame in his possession.
History[]
During his introduction, Ug has possessed a Tyrannosaurus Rex that stands still, but then animates and consumes the Toad painting that is found in his room. Ug then roars, scaring Luigi.
First and second phases[]
Being a Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil, Ug tries to bite Luigi. He cannot move much due to his restraints. Luigi can counter this by picking dinosaur eggs up with his Poltergust G-00 and firing them at at Ug's mouth as the skeletal dinosaur prepares his bite. This will cause Ug's core to become vulnerable. The second phase is similar, but Gooigi must sacrifice himself to the bite, as there is only one dinosaur egg. Being gooey, he clogs up Ug's mouth with his own body, so Luigi can fire another egg toward Ug and damage him. Once he takes enough damage, Ug will break free and enter the penultimate phase.
Third phase[]
During this phase, Ug is more mobile. He uses his bite attack to hit Luigi and damage him, but Ug will lose his structural integrity if Luigi fires dinosaur bones at him, causing Ug to fall apart and beginning the final phase.
Final phase[]
When he enters his final phase, the boss will manifest as his true self. His main attack is using his club to smash Luigi into the floor. If he gets caught, Luigi will take serious damage. Luigi must also use his vacuum's burst technique to avoid being damaged by the shockwave that Ug creates with his club. Luigi must wait until Ug tries to recover from his club attack, then stun the boss and try to capture him. Ug has 400 hit points.

Part 1: T-Rex
You'll notice that two pterodactyl eggs fell from above. To defeat the T-Rex, you'll need to suck one up and shoot it into the T-Rex's mouth and then quickly shoot the other into his chest to hurt him. The large lizard will then get angry and destroy one of the pterodactyls.
Now you need to control Gooigi and have him get close to the T-Rex. The dinosaur will attempt to eat him. While Gooigi's gooey self is stuck in his jaws, have Luigi shoot the egg into his chest.
At this point, the T-Rex is really mad and unhooks himself from his tether. Avoid his stamping foot as well as his roaring attack, where he sends shock waves your way. He'll rampage around the room and destroy the other fossils in his path. Suck up one of the bones lying on the floor and shoot it at his chest when it's exposed. This will cause the fossilized lizard to fall apart.
Part 2: Caveman
A caveman ghost emerges from the bones. Avoid getting hit by his club. He'll smash the ground and send a shock wave. Utilize the burst feature to jump over them. He'll momentarily be stuck with his club in the ground. Approach and flash him with your Strobulb. Now suck away his health while he's dazed. Repeat this process until he's captured. You'll get the Toad frame and the B2 Floor button from this experience.

Ug is sent to the Gallery for the remainder of the game.
Physical description[]
Ug is a muscular mustard-yellow ghost. He has a slightly hunched posture, pupilless red glowing eyes and mouth, a few teeth (with one sticking out) and black-brown hair. He is dressed in an orange fur cloth and wields a bone club.
Personality traits[]
Ug behaves like a stereotypical caveman, acting very temperamental, aggressive and hostile.

- Possession: Ug is capable of possessing inanimate objects, and inheriting new or similar abilities. He takes over the skeleton of a tyrannosaurus rex.
- Hyper Beam: As a tyrannosaurus rex, Ug can roar exceptionally loudly, releasing a beam of sound that does 20 HP of damage to Luigi if successful.

- Club: As a caveman, Ug wields a club, which he can use to deal serious amounts of damage to Luigi.
