The Underground Lab is a room of the Treacherous Mansion in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Description[]
The Underground Lab is a laboratory found in the basement levels of the Treacherous Mansion. There is an operating table and machinery, which will charge up lightning on a suit of armor. On the shelves, there are vases which contain hearts and a diamond. This room is accessible through the Haunted Catacombs.
Dark Moon Quest[]
During Luigi's journey to hunt down the Polterpup in "Front-Door Key", he finds two Strong Greenies trying to bring a suit of armor to life using the machinery. As he fights them, he'll also encounter a Strong Sneaker here too. After defeating the ghosts, Luigi can use the Poltergust 5000 to spin the wheel to its maximum level to completely electrify the suit, knocking its helmet of and exposing the mission's Boo, Boolldog. Luigi can also use the helmet to destroy some glass vases on the shelves to collect hearts. The top right vase contains a diamond in it.
In all other missions except "Terrifying Invasion", the Underground Lab and all other rooms in the Bottom of Well cannot be accessed. In said mission, however, the Underground Lab and all other said rooms serve no relevant purpose, besides collecting the diamond if the player has not already obtained it.

- The scene where the two Strong Greenies try and bring the suit of armor to life references the film, Frankenstein.
